Additional information about rental rates

If you are seriously considering renting the villa, you can, if necessary, ask some time to come to your final decision. After having given your final agreement , you will receive a booking letter, valid as a reservation. You are then expected to deposit 30% of the total rental amount within 2 weeks.

After this deposit your booking is final.

The remainder of the rent, plus a deposit of £ 200/ € 150, must be paid one month before arrival.
You will receive the deposit back within 2 weeks after your departure from the villa. Any damages will be settled with the deposit.

All foreign nationals must have a visa when intending to travel to India. If you do not have a valid visa when checking in for your flight to India you will be denied boarding. Full details on visa categories, fees and how to submit an application on – line are given on the VFS website http://in.vfsglobal.co.uk . Travelers from other countries: Details of the types of visas available and their fees may be obtained from the Indian Embassy which will usually be located in the capital city of the relevant country. The web pages of the local Indian Tourist Office will also contain details. Usefull links you can find ons our Favorite Links page.

Changeover day:
There is no preferred changeover day but over the Christmas and New Year we reserve the right to insist that bookings are for a minimum one week or that there is not a gap of more than one day between bookings.
Although we are flexible on check in times when possible we do reserve the right to insist on a 10:30hrs checkout or 15:30hrs check in where necessary.
We encourage bookings of 2 weeks during Xmas and New Year's period (21st Dec - 03rd Jan).

Notes on prices:

airport transfers arranged, Prices exclusive – Dabolim Airport.
Maid Service is included in the price listed. (3 x a week)
Linen and towels provided (2x week changed)
Welcome pack provided on arrival, all basics available.
The prices above mentioned are inclusive of electricity, all luxury taxes and vat.
Prices mentioned above is regardless of number of people, max persons of upto 7 people.
Prices are for the property per week. Bookings that are over 7 days will be charged pro rota. There can be negotiable discounts for bookings of over 21 days for off season and Monsoon lets.

*Monsoon bookings made more than three months before commencement of booking must be for a minimum of four weeks. Shorter lets will be considered within three months of commencement.

Booking notes:
A 30% Non Refundable deposit is required when the booking is made. The full balance of the payment is required 6 weeks before commencement of the booking. Preferred method of payment per bank transfer.
If the arrival date falls within 4 weeks payment has to be made in full.

My cancellation policy is as follows:
Over six months (26 weeks) before commencement of booking 10%.
Between 26 weeks and 10 weeks 25%.
Between 10 weeks and 5 weeks 50%.
Between 5 weeks and commencement 100%.

The housekeeper will clean, keep the garden, and wash-up. If you want ironing doing then she takes it home and a payment should be agreed with her, probably an appropriate small amount would be R500/1000.

She can arrange a driver, he will need paying for trips for a very reasonable price. Approximately R1800 to the airport or R1600/2000 for a full day out. Negotiate.
